We are excited to announce the date for our 2nd Annual Community Event. Our event will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 at 7:00pm.
The event is an opportunity to share conversations, pictures and stories about what we’ve done in 2010 and where we’re going in 2011.

We collected a box full of clothes for children and shipped them off to Cameroon. Everything arrived safely and will be distributed to the kids who most need it.
Many thanks to all the families who dug through the closets and found a bunch of clothing to donate to the cause.
Joe and Tara have been busy working to make The Project Solution an official “not for profit” organization. This will include getting an IRS tax exempt status – 501(c)(3) – so that all future donations will be tax deductible. This will also allow us to begin to seek grant money from foundations and corporations.
We would like to also take a moment to welcome Michael Mendiola who has joined our team as our official accountant to help get us through this process. His time and efforts are greatly appreciated.

On September 17, 2009 Tara and Joe celebrated the official launch of the website. The event included a live get together in New York City and a virtual event on Facebook where people could check in and see updates given by the NYC attendees. The evening included an introduction to The Project Solution, a poetry reading by Jonathan Walton, photographs of the Fuli Water Project in Cameroon and an overview of the upcoming 10-Cent Project Solution program.
