Partnering for the second time with the NGO, Haritika, we will be funding the installation of a Solar Water Pumping station. In many rural villages throughout India, having easy access to clean water can sometimes be difficult. Haritika provides water solutions to many villages through irrigation, dam and well projects. In the village of Mangraul, over five hundred residents have to travel to get access to water. Haritika has already created a well for the water and our funding will allow the addition of solar panels to power a water pump for bringing up the water and distributing it into the homes of the locals.

The Nepal Sanitation Project

Partnering for the second time with Citta, we will be funding the construction of a bathroom facility for a school located in Nepal. Situated in a very remote region of the Limi Valley, three village schools have been in desperate need of support for some time now. Thanks to the non-profit Citta who has come in to help support the schools, the students will be receiving much needed support. After a successful partnership with Citta during our Orissa Hygiene Project, we are happy to collaborate with them again for another important sanitation project.
