In the southwestern region of Cameroon, we are working with the local NGO Social Development International (SODEIT) to provide funding toward improving classroom conditions. The grant will allow five local schools in the Buea region to each receive three new chalkboards for their classrooms. Currently they have chalkboards that are either crumbling completely worn beyond use. Having a good chalkboard is an essential tool for teachers who are providing an education to their students.
